August 11— A Seattle Fire Investigator determined two small fires discovered in West Seattle this morning were intentionally set. Around 5:30 this morning, Engine 29 responded to a fire in a utility trailer located in the 3700 block of SW Grayson Street in West Seattle. At the same time, Engine 36 handled a fire set in a recycling bin next to a fence located a few yards from the trailer fire. Both fires were quickly extinguished.
A Seattle Fire Investigator determined both fires were likely set by the same individual or individuals. The damage estimate is $1,550. According to the fire investigator, there have not been any similar set fires in the area.
Seattle Police Department Detectives are currently investigating the case. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Seattle Police Department.
