The Seattle Public Library and the Seattle Fire Department invites preschoolers, parents and caregivers to special story times that highlight Fire Prevention Month during October. Firefighters will read stories about fire safety and demonstrate for children what they wear in a fire.
Story times are scheduled throughout the month at the following locations:
Green Lake Branch – Wednesday, October 13 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Beacon Hill Branch – Wednesday, October 13 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Montlake Branch – Thursday, October 14 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Queen Anne Branch – Thursday, October 14 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
West Seattle Branch – Wednesday, October 20 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Broadview Branch – Thursday, October 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Central Branch – Thursday, October 21 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. – Special Story Time featuring Seattle Firefighters and Fire Chief Dean!
