October 13, 2012—Seattle Firefighter treated 4 patients at a two car multi-vehicle accident along the Ballard Bridge this morning.
At 8:19 a.m. a 911 call came into the Fire Alarm Center reporting a multi-vehicle accident along the bridge. The accident involved two cars, a taxi cab and a Prius. 3 people in the Prius were treated and transported to the hospital. The taxi cab driver complained of neck injuries and was transported to Swedish Ballard by AMR.
One female back seat passenger of the Prius was transported to Harborview Medical Center by Seattle Fire Department Medics. She suffered several fractures and was in stable condition. Another passenger in the car was transported by AMR to Harborview Medical Center. A third patient in the Prius was taken by AMR to Swedish Ballard.
None of the patients were trapped in the cars. Seattle Police Officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
