July 5—Seattle Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a home in 2500 block of South Eddy Street. A 911 call came in at 2:30 p.m. for reports of a house fire.
Engine Company 28 arrived first to find smoke and flames from the back of the house. Firefighter’s aggressive attack contained the flames to exterior of the home and prevented the fire and smoke from extending into the house.
Fire Investigators determined this was an accidental electrical fire. The damage estimate is $10,000.
There are no reports of any injuries.
