August 26—Medics transported a 6-year-old girl from 2000 Westlake Avenue North to Seattle Children’s Hospital after she nearly drowned in a deep end of a swimming pool. The girl was in stable condition.
At 9:28 a.m. firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene with a report of a patient out of the water and the staff initiating CPR. When firefighters arrived, the girl was breathing and alert and had a good pulse. A staff member on-hand performed brief CPR on the girl after she was underwater for an unknown amount of time.
