The Seattle Fire Department will host a free family-friendly fire safety fair for our South Seattle neighbors, from Noon-2:00p.m. Sunday, August 28. Please join us at Fire Station 28 (5968 Rainier Ave. S.) for fun educational activities and learn important fire and life safety skills. All ages are welcome!
A sample of what to expect:
- Tour a working fire engine and ladder truck
- Meet local firefighters and watch special technical demonstrations
- Learn about CPR and watch demonstrations of Hands-Only CPR
- Meet Hera, one of Seattle Fire Department’s Therapy Dog
- Learn about becoming a firefighter
- Take a selfie at our photo booth
- Learn about Stop the Bleed and how to correctly use a tourniquet
- Join Firefighter Story Time
- Enter to win a prize
